Description
This food pantry at the APLA Health and Wellness Center, run by APLA/NOLP, serves individuals with HIV/AIDS. Clients receive pre-bagged groceries that cover 100% of weekly meals as well as hygiene items and cleaning supplies. Bilingual nutritional counseling and nutritional classes are also available. To be qualified for pantry services at any APLA pantry, client(s) must apply and offer photo ID, proof of income and residency, nutrition confirmation, and proof of HIV/AIDS diagnosis. One-time exceptions are granted to walk-in clients who provide photo ID and proof of HIV/AIDS diagnosis.
