Description
Emergency food (groceries and hot meals) to anyone in the Skid Row area of downtown Los Angeles, including people who are undocumented. Attendance at a religious service is required to receive the hot meal, but not for the groceries. Services are held in English and in Spanish. People may apply for assistance as often as necessary. Groceries (Emergency Food Bags) consist of a two to three-day supply of packaged goods and fresh produce. Amount given varies with family size. Infant formula and baby food sometimes available depending on donations. Soup kitchen serves lunch. There are no geographic restrictions and no ID required.
