Description
The Tuttle Senior center offers Meal Pickup for Seniors 55+ every Tuesday and Thursday. To enroll in the meal program call the main number, submit an application, and a start date will be given. Suggested $2 donation. For homebound individuals the Home Delivered meals Program is currently accepting applications; you must be a Burbank resident 60+ years of age, and be evaluated by the staff to determine need and eligibility. For more info and/or enrollment on Home Delivered meals, call 818-238-5367. Activities include classes and courses on Sign Language, Public Speaking, Arts and Crafts, Line Dancing, and drop-in Table Games including Texas Hold'Em and Bingo. Other sponsored programs include Project HOPE, a free City of Burbank program that pairs residents (age 55+) with volunteers who assist with essential errands, including: grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and dropping off items at the post office.
