Free legal support services offered by appointment to all low-income clients at legal clinics across Los Angeles County. Clients are educated on housing and employment rights, veterans' benefits, probate, bankruptcy, debt and credit, small claims cases, family law and Social Security. Most free consultations are 60-90 minutes. Clients are educated in their legal rights and offered training in how to handle the dispute or issue. CLA-LA does not provide in court representation or on-going assistance. Free community workshops also regularly offered- see website for dates and times. Must email or call for appointment.
