Description
4 Self Help Legal Access Centers (Torrance, Santa Monica, Inglewood and Long Beach) offer legal assistance to anyone in need and are located at inside designated courthouses. Available legal services include housing rights, restraining orders, record expungement, and more. Call Legal Self-help Hotline, Walk-in to a self-help center or call the Apptmt Line to access services.

ELIGIBILITY. All individuals who represent themselves (regardless of income or immigration status).

ACCESS. Walk in during hours or call hotline for remote assistance.

Other legal services offered by LAFLA: 5 area offices offer in-person legal counseling to those with income less than 125% of the federal poverty guidelines, (East Los Angeles, Santa Monica, South Los Angeles, Downtown LA and Long Beach). The 3 Domestic Violence Clinics (LA, Long Beach and Santa Monica) offer legal and other support to domestic violence victims.
