Description
The walk-in Access Center in Downtown LA offers a wide array of informational resources, referrals, and comprehensive wraparound services to individuals in Downtown Los Angeles who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. Supportive services include CES Assessments, housing, counseling, HIV/STD testing, veterans' services, legal aid, health and mental health support, dental referrals, mail services, and more. Clients also have access to various in-house programs and services such as emergency shelter, employment support, substance use groups, and educational opportunities. The Access Center also provides bus tokens for scheduled appointments. Bring ID and social security card if possible.
The Emergency Shelters, which can be accessed through the Access Center, provides housing, meals, mental health and substance abuse services plus job assistance to homeless men and women.
