Description
Located in Whittier, this Safe Parking Program provides 20 safe and legal places for adults and families who are living in the cars, vans or campers (No RV's allowed) to park and sleep at night. Anyone who has a valid driver's license and is living in their car, van or camper (if the vehicle is operational) may park and rest overnight. Serves Veterans and Adults and Families. On site security, and access to portable restrooms and a hand washing station are available during program hours, Safe Parking Program providers may able to help pay for lost ID, and offer referrals to community resources such as housing, medical, benefits, education and jobs.
